The manufacturer recommends torque wrenches be checked once a week using a Torque Wrench Checker. It is a good idea to keep a record on each torque wrench.
A torque wrench is a measuring instrument and should be treated as such. Never drop, throw, band or use it as a hammer. Costly repairs and downtime can result from this.
The torque wrench internal mechanism is permanently lubricated during assembly. Do not attempt to lubricate the internal mechanism. Clean by wiping; do not immerse in a solution.
