Description

The Pro Spot Weld Drill is used to drill out spots so that the pieces of steel can be separated while leaving one side intact. The weld drill comes with carbide drill bits that can be safely used on today's high strength steels, including boron. A unique PVD coating increases the hardness to 3000 Vickers (HV) and operates at temperatures up to 1200° F. They also have two blade geometry (rather than three) so there is more material around the blades which makes them much more resistant to impacts and vibrations, increasing their lifetime.
