Inbay® Express Service Lift (7,000 lb Capacity)

Item Number: ROTA7PIH    Supplier: ROTARY LIFT

Description

Introducing the new Rotary model ROTA7PIH with inbay® technology for fast service applications. Rotary has worked closely with Honda to develop a lift that would improve productivity and allow dealers to increase the volume of vehicles being serviced in their facilities. This model has been enhanced from a standard lift incorporating features specifically requested by Honda with the idea of moving more cars through Express Service bays and increasing service revenues

Features

  • inbay® technology controls allow raising or lowering the lift from either side, eliminating the need to walk around the vehicle, saving several steps.
  • Drive-outer/drive-thru pad design allows quick vehicle positioning and removal. Requires no arms for adjustment.
  • (2) air outlets on each column provide conveniently located attachments for tire inflaters and impact wrenches right at the lift. Also includes an air shutoff valve.
  • 110 volt electric outlets on both columns for convenient plug-in right at lift column.
  • Wheel hooks allow convenient placement of tires, preventing the need for the technician to bend over after removing tire and lifting the tire when reinstalling.
  • Magnetic lug nut trays allow convenient storage after lug nuts are removed.
  • Rubber spacer blocks allow proper vehicle lifting. Retainers at column base for convenient storage. (3) different heights provided.
  • True asymmetrical rotated columns for maximum door opening clearance, overhead cutoff device which prevents vehicle from contacting overhead beam, "double-S" column design which maximizes bearing surface contact area and easy to use arm restraints.
  • Holsters conveniently located on both columns for all air/power tools.
  • Power unit designed by Rotary®, specifically for lift applications
  • Patented (US Patent No 5,009,287) column design.  “Double-S” shape, with single-piece construction to maximize strength and bearing surface area.  Slider-block bearings of Tivar® polyethylene are self-lubricating and maintenance free
  • High-pressure cylinders in each column provide maximum lifting force
  • Overhead padded switch bar prevents damaging vehicles from being raised too high
  • Fixed-pad vehicle-contact area for quick vehicle spotting.  Sized to fit all Honda and Acura models
  • Door Defender™ rubber door guard mounts to lift carriage and prevents vehicle door dings

  • Capacity (per arm): 1,750 lb (794 kg)
  • Motor: 2 hp
  • Optional: 3 phase electrical available
  • Pad dimension per pad: 288 sq. in. (1858 sq. kg.)
  • Speed of rise: 45 seconds
  • Voltage: 1 phase, 208 volt/230 volt

  • It is recommended that a rubber spacing block be used at each vehicle lift point to avoid possible damage to vehicle components that may be hanging lower than the vehicle lift point.  For example:  2002 CR-V requires (2) of the tall rubber spacing blocks at each lift point so that the fuel tank guard does not come in contact with the pad.
  • As a rule of thumb, position the vehicle so the front lift points align with the front edge of the pads.  NOTE:  This does not apply to the S2000 because the lift point is set back.
  • 1999 and later Odysseys require different lift points to be used on the rear.  Follow these instructions:   Align the front vehicle lift points to the front edge of the pad and place a tall spacing block on each side at the vehicle lift points.  The rear vehicle lift points will not align with the pad; therefore, place (2) tall spacing blocks end-to-end along the pinch weld and as close as possible to the rear lift points.
  • Passports:  This vehicle must be centered to the pad to have the subframe contact with pad.  Use the tall spacers at contact points.
